Title: Player Combat Card
Post by: DavidKlecker on December 31, 2007, 01:56:21 PM
Maybe this was done before but I didn't see one.

I created a player combat card for HARP, based on other combat cards for monsters and NPCs I saw on the HARP site. They are created to keep track of Initiatives, hit points, penalties, stuns, whathaveyou. Before combat starts, everyone fills out their combat card. Then the player places the card on the table. The highest init goes first and the action written on the card goes first. Once finished the player removes his card and fills it for the next round. Once all players' cards are removed, all players place the cards down for the next round. I recommend laminating the cards and using a dry erase marker.

Hopefully they work well. Let me know what you think.

I have tried the same thing, downloading some combat tracker in the free downloads section and laminating them...
works just fine, but I have to replace ours frequently because the dry erase tends to stick more than I would like and beer stains...
one of my players is notorious for spilling suds at the table, even when we made him keep his on the floor, he knocked over someone else's beer!! I mean every session (1/week) he is good for at least one!
Ah well...
Good luck and that should work just fine for you! ;D

Nice card! Might use them for my current group - probably better than my lists of their skills and abilities which I have to find again every session.

May be you should take a look under some beer glasses or the box of the last game's pizza  ;D
