Companion III would be my guess

I think violence in games only causes violence in real life if the person in question has an insufficient mental capacity to deal with the real world in the first place. But, that's more the fault of poor genetics and poorer parenting than it is the fault of a videogame

High stat bonus special ability picks, types A, B and C, in RMCIII.

The REALLY high stat picks are in RMCVI, I think. If you've got stats even higher than required for a C pick.

Well, thank you, but...naw, but I have read companion III at least a hundred times.  It was the last of the companions I found VERY useful, stressing the word very.

RMCIII covered high stat abilities up to a 120 stat.  118 the highest I have seen in play.

Yes, I thought, just in case. You never know.

As for RMCIII, I liked the ritual rules as a player, not as a GM mind you, but as a player they were great. I also liked the Curtain Wall spell which our party acquired and which proved to be VERY useful.
And the Chaotic Lord, although I have never seen one played really successful. Most of them killed themselves sooner or later by putting on a new "armour".

My first thought reading that was bonus stat for list picks for SLA. . . .I get what you're talking about, but how you extracted it from the question. . . .that was impressive.

Well, uhh...thanks.  I never was good at getting praise.  Odd how somethings might not stay with you from childhood, but rather STAY with you from childhood?

Actually I liked the ones in Companion VI better, since they are based on the total bonus of the stat and not just how high the stat is. :)
I'm new here, but have played RM2 on and off for 20 years. :)

I generally prefer things to be "objective" that way. . .so that a pixie with a 103 ST and a -10 ST bonus is not "super strong" but a Cyclops with a 90 ST and a +45 ST bonus is. (Those are not actual calculated values, just making a point.)

Same logic for "Power Points based on Stat Bonus" or "DP based on stat bonus" (Though, in practice I tend to use flat DP per level.)
