Game of Thrones, Dorne, Oberyn Martell type Dervish character - where?

So I caught up on Game of Thrones last night and watching Oberyn Martell, the Red Viper of Dorne, flip around with his spear I decided to make my next character a Dervish.

Which desert region in Shadow World would best fit with a desert Dervish?

 He was a favorite of mine also, both in the book and in the HBO show.
  But I do not know enough about SW to help you out with your question.

Possibly the Desert People of the Bola Wastes from Star Crown Empire. Maybe in the desert from Kingdom of the Desert Jewel. Maybe Uj, a primarily desert region in SW Emer.
