I hated the look of the forums at first but now I'm getting used to it. I wish the default font size was bigger, that's about my only dislike. And yes I'm wearing reading glasses now 8)

Mordred - Errata was collapsed into the sections that they were subgroups of. As I go through I will try to sticky the errata to keep it at the top for easy reference.
Ironmaul - Intent was the reorganization done last night. I'll look into the default font size for you to see how easy it is to increase it.

The only thing I wish you had is the ability to quote multiple posts without having to go back and click quote. Do it like on RPG.NET where you can click a button on a post, or multiple posts, and when you finally get to the end of the thread and hit "post" all of those posts you "clicked" are quoted, no going back multiple times, having to re-find the post(s) you want to quote. But it isn't a huge deal, just a nice feature I would like to see.
PS: I put indifferent, as the look is not that important to me, functionality is what I care about.

RandalThor, I like the streamlined declutter of the forums, and the merging of them to form more generalised ones. What do you think of this aspect of the changes?

Im easy to please. As long as you can post and others can read it it works for me. But then I second Randal that quoting could be made easier if possible.

I know, on at least one type of forum software, there is capacity for a multi-quote button alongside the quote button, but I don't know if it's possible with the current forum software.

I did a quick search and found a multi-quote mod. I did a quick try on the test forums and it came up corrupt, so give me a little time to work through it and see if I'll be able to solve it.

I can't really tell what changed. Maybe it's because I'm using the BR Finale theme and not the ICE one....?

BR Finale is the standard for almost everyone.
The changes were in the organization structure of the forums.
Nothing major, just consolidated/streamlined, etc.

As I tend to just go to "show new replies to your posts" or "show unread posts since last visit" I haven't noticed much difference (other than the color scheme).

I guess I just obsessively read everything, so it doesn't really matter how it's organized.... :o

As someone who's only signed up in the past couple of weeks, I believe it's better and more logically organized now.
Then again, since I don't know a lot about what was here, I may not know what I'm missing! :)

I wonder where the geek and related culture sub-forum went? Was it merged with another one?

If you mean the literature, movies, etc. sub-forum, it was collapsed into General Discussion. If you are talking about something else, please clarify and I'll point you in the right direction.

Actually I chose "I like it" because there is no vote for "I love it".
I love the darker background with bright text because it is easier on the eyes when one is reading multiple pages of a thread. Harvard university did a study on this back in the very late 90s and found it was easier for persons to read on a dark background with bright text than the standard "paper" look Microsoft wants for the internet.

We'll be repurposing that functionality for a more impactful benefit.
The "Karma" tool has undergone many updates over the years.

If you ever want to go back to a simple white background version, simply change the BR Finale theme at the bottom of the forum menus to ICE Curve. I believe all of our mod's should work on that.
