Does Gate Mastery or Dark Summons have a spell in which you can gain a Demonic or Devilish companion say like an imp or a succubus?

You could master them for a bit. Likely you'd need to go further.

Use a ritual.

Make a deal.

Make threats.

Use a long duration or permenant mastery or domination from another list on them.

Some rules answers, some roleplay. (If you wanted to talk, and make a deal or threat the demon likes, they do not have to attack you, they can be negoriated with or cowed. . .though, literary precedent says you'll get it in the end for doing so.)

Based on the in game logic, demons are only "spiritually" present, their body is actually an elemental energy construct to hold that spirit. . .same with elementals. . .they prefer not to be manifest, or disturbed, so often are ticked off about it. (CT describes them as amorphous and changing, taking on fixed forms only when forced into the mortal realms, forms they can get stuck in and do not prefer, wanting to go back where they come from, and dislike being summoned.)

Succubi/incubi are the offspring of mortals and demons, so likely roam the mortal world. . .and likely can be roleplayed with or have spells cast on them to control them like any other "Monster".

With some research and perhaps Magic Ritual, I would consider allowing a Magician using one of the Demon Mastery spells to try to find specific Demon types. You might want to sync the Demon in question to one of the "Types" in Spell Law and go from there.

Now if the Magician wanted a free-willed Companion, he could Lesser Planar Gate an opening to said Demons homeworld and see who wants to hop through. Usually discouraged by the authorities tho. :)

Not exactly, but the Dark Summons spell list has spells to summon a familiar and to make it more and more fiendish in appearance and abilities.
I suppose a magician might, he admitted, but a gentleman never could.
