Which are the Official TP Costs
« on: October 09, 2007, 03:23:34 AM »
Hi all!

I usually use the Donovan Dale Spreadsheet, but regarding the training package costs, I found that the TP costs from the Spreadsheet doesn't match the ones from the ICETPMasterCostList.pdf.
Is that the official one? Why is the spreadsheet wrong? there is any reason?

Thanks in advance

ICETPMasterCostList.pdf.

In the Vault this file is labeled as "ICE's Official TP master cost list", so I think this is the official one  :)
I suppose a magician might, he admitted, but a gentleman never could.

Jonathon's sheet was made using the costs as printed. Unfortunately, the old ICE changed the formula every once in a while, regarding how to price them.

The Master TP list uses a single pricing formula for ALL the TPs.

Either way is fine actually, the Master TP list is just more recent and the one that ICE considers official.

This actually sparks a related question from me.
I noticed on the list such TPs as Grave Robber, Jester, Executioner, Court Magician.
What book(s) are these listed in?
I thought I owned every RMFRP book, but I can't seem to find them.

TPs from non-core books should have had an abbreviation code next to them.

Right, I saw that. But there was no abbrev. code next to the TPs I was wondering about, hence the confusion. Plus I don't have a copy of Castles and Ruins;so it wouldn't have mattered how hard I flipped thru my books, I never would have found it. :bang:

The Guild Companion sells a PDF of C&R -- you can purchase it from them

It's the next priority on my list now; right after I track down a copy of RM Companion II, so I can get the Dervish Spell Lists.  So much Rolemaster, so little money. :)
