Morning all,

I've managed to confuse myself concerning strong points and discovered that I made an error when started Topic: SM: Privateers VM Construction & Design: Hard and Strong Points, which should have been Topic: SM: Privateers VM Construction & Design: Payload Pallets.

Anyway, per the text on p. 98, all valid strong points are free but adding any strong points above the  valid requires that cost, volume, and mass calculated, right?

Yes that is my understanding on the rules under Strong and Hard Points.

Rule #0: A GM has the right to change any rule in a book to fit their game.
Role Play not Roll Play.
Use a System to tell the story do not let the system play you.

Yes they are free up to the formula number then after that they must be paid for with mass, volume and $.
