Outlaw - medication table?
« on: September 01, 2010, 11:56:35 AM »
Hello,
Sorry if this is in the wrong section.  I wasn't sure where it would fit.  I hacked RM Outlaw into the system I normally use in order to accomodate a Wild west Game.  There is no magic, so no magical healing.  I was wondering if anyone had worked up a table for the game effects of real north American herbs, and/or 19th century medications such as morphine, and laudenum?

I found a PDF on converting Robin Hood to a similar system which had some real/modern herbs, but not all were appropriate.

Thanks

I have never seen such a table created.  However, you may find modern drugs reducing recovery times by a percentage is the best way to implement them.
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time... like tears in rain... Time to die.

And there were doctors in the days of the Wild West...
A military solution isn't the only answer, just one of the better ones.
