Just a heads-up, I am now planning to attend GenCon this year, working the booth, sitting on at least one panel, and hoping to run a few Shadow World / Rolemaster games and or demos. What would you all like to see?

Oh man. I just told my buddies that I didn't think I could make GenCon this year due to the fact that I have 2 small kids at home; you are making it very hard to say no!
I'd love to see something from Emer III, especially something like exploring the Krylites.

Crud, and it looks like I'm going to be missing my 2nd Gen Con after 18 years of consecutive attendance. I hope things turn around by 2019 - I'm sick of missing out on all the good stuff.

And we are working towards planned games for GenCon. Terry, Monte and I have been having some discussions with at least Terry and I both committed to running RM games based in Shadoworld, with a focus in the area around the Green Gryphon Inn. If anyone else is interested in assisting by GMing such games, let me know as I am going to try to get all the games scheduled in the same area or room for both convenience and the social interaction aspects of the games. Or GMing HARP, as we would love to have some HARP games going as well, I know that Bruce has run some in the past at GenCon.

I am looking at the GENCON 2018 events and I only see one event for ROLEMASTER. Am I missing something? I really want to get into a few games if possible. I'd like to try HARP if it is being run also. Am interested in fantasy or sci fi. I ran games for many years last system I was using was RMSS. Unfortunately with moving etc my gaming group has changed and I've not had a chance to run lately.

I just did an event search and still don’t see any RM events sponsored by ICE. Any ETA on events? I’d play in anything set in the Shadow World.

I submitted them, but apparently there is a delay in getting them online at GenCon's end. I'm planning on running 3 basic adventures.

I"m looking daily for them so as soon as I see them I'll sign up. Can't wait to play again.

Yes, he did. Sounds like they just need help filling in at the booth occasionally for breaks and such and I'm fine to pitch in as needed. If you guys need more help, let me know.

Anyone like to assist me at the games? As we know, Rolemaster is complicated, and someone to help with the charts would be awesome. I have submitted the following times and dates for 4-hour games:
Mystery at Gryphonburgh Friday 10 AM
City of the Dead Friday 4 PM
City of the Dead (same scenario) Saturday 1 PM
Unfortunately GenCon has not posted these yet so I have no confirmation or location. :-(

I'm hoping to play honestly, but would be happy to help out if I don't get a ticket or could help the City of the Dead on Friday at 4pm (as I have a 7pm event and thus can't do that session anyway), assuming you'd be OK if I played the Saturday session.

Starfit, I have no problem with you helping after you played the scenario before; in fact it might make it easier! Have you seen the events posted?

Well, I don't know what to do. We do have some time before the con for them to get their act together. As it gets closer and no online registration shows, I will post the info I have on all three events here (like what I have above) and I will be there, and I guess if no registrants show, first-come.
I will still be looking for an unregistered volunteer to help facilitate game mechanics (i.e., read and note charts) for each game, as I will prefer to just be the color GM and some people may not be adept with RM charts.

Still not showing up on events at Gencon. Hoping to get to your saturday session. while playing the game I'm willing to help you with charts and stuff if that is a possibility. Just let me know.

just showed up now on gencon site, but doesn't have a GM. I saw where it said TERRY wasn't going to make it due to illness in directors briefing. Not sure whether there will be a GM can anyone provide light on that?

I just grabbed tickets for myself in case it does run, but would also be willing to help out GMing, if need be.
