During playtesting the characters in an RM2 environment they come off as being rather underpowered, but in just RMC they are just fine.

I experienced the venturer to be an excelent addition to rm2. He has all the verstility and level-to-power ratio that the elemental warrior does not. He is to mentalism what the old school warrior mages was to essence - a semi spell user that encompasses the core of his realm at a slightly increased level to illustrate that he is semi. I like him well crafted :D

Finally decided on base lists for the Warrior Mage, based on people's thoughts here:

?   Elemental Ways (RMC II)
?   Combat Enhancement (Beastmaster base, RMC II)
?   Mind?s Touch (RMC II)
?   Highriding (RMC II)
?   Warrior?s Blade (SUC)

Nders reply #20 here was what turned me away from the Elemental Warrior. While the Warrior Mage is just that - a Mage with Combat skills, which has basically the same spells as a Mage, but with higher level for the spells he has.

The Elemental Warrior on the other hand, is more unique in himself, becasue of the focus on his prime element.
