Has anyone already done the work of stating up the races and equipment of Mass Effect into Spacemaster mechanics?
While I appreciate that the overall Mass Effect 'ambience' can easily be generated in a Spacemaster campaign, it might be nice to have the specific races and technology stated up for it.
Anyone already done any of the work?

If I was going to do it I would get the game walk through book that has all of the stats for the Races, Weapons, etc and go from there.
If it is anything like Dragon Age: Origins it should be fairly easy.

That's a pretty sensible idea.

My friend has to book and I might be able to get it in 2 weeks or so.
I do not know anyone who has done it but a few people have talked about it in the past.

I have a player who wants to play the bird like race...whatever they are called. I've never played a game so I have no idea.

Seems like I wasn't the only one to have that idea.
Of course, I initially thought to use SM for that, but later on I discovered that using the Contact RPG rules are much more in sync with the Mass Effect style gameplay.
So, no, I haven't done a lot of work.
But think on it - you'll need to do at least five races with skill backgrounds, racial abilites and then you'll need to work on the Biotics and Tech Powers.
I discovered that some things would be easy to adapt, and some quite hard.
But I'm willing to help and even re-visit the SM rules for this, since my project hasn't gone anywhere :)
