I tried to made a generic Culture template, "High Valley", for RMC/X , consulting EA#7 and HARP Bazaar Annual, and have managed to arrange the Cultural Skill Ranks, like,

Combat Skills
1 Maneuver in Armor
3 Weapon Skills

Generic Skills
2 Climbing
0 Swimming
2 Riding
1 Stalk/Hide
1 Perception

Magical Skills
1 Rune
0 Stave & Wands

Special Skills
0 Ambush
6 Linguistics
1 Body Development

Secondary Skills
2 Crafting
0 Foraging
2 Gen.Lore: Local Region
0 Navigation
0 Streetwise
1 Tracking
0 Trickery

(I don't know whether they are well-arranged or not.)

.....but still, I need to fill in its "Anatomy" like Political Structure. Social Structure etc, since HARP Bazaar Annual's  "High Valley" description is lite (yup, it's for HARP, so, naturally) and doesn't have such an "Anatomy" like those in EA#7.

Those included in EA#7 really helped my group to create characters with such customizable descriptions and data.

I wish for another set (High Valley, Cragger, Littoral or whatsoever).

I tried to made...

Oops. "I tried to make".
I guess my English skill ranks are "S 5 / W 5" now.
Sigh.

Hey, even a S 10 / W5 could make that mistake.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time... like tears in rain... Time to die.

IMHO, "Valey culture" should have ranks in the following skills:

language:  valley speech
appraisal
duping
lore:fashion sense
lore:location of all merchants within 30 miles
craft:Jewelry making

"Like, Omigawd!  Those Fendi handbags are so TOTALLY on sale!"  :Joker2:

Sorry.  I can't help myself.  Valley speak doesn't translate well into Japanese.

I read the culture rules yesterday and then made a character with them (High Class Urban, High Man). I thought the rules were great. It makes a lot of sense having cultures, just like in MERP. I think I'll continue to use them. And that's high praise coming from me, because I rarely use optional rules at all!  ;)
