If a magician cast a spell on himself, he must make a resistance roll?

We never did as the target was willingly accepting the spell, not trying to resist.
If discretion is the better valor and
cowardice the better part of judgment,
let's all be heroes and run away!

If I remember well, casting the spell on a willing target has special RR modifiers (target is considered level 1 and has -50 to RR, from memory), but there is still a chance to resist. Now whether casting on oneself is a further exception or is considered "willing target" I don't remember - I would make it another exception and say that there is no RR, but that's just a rule of thumb.

We do not roll resistance on self spells. We only roll for spell failure (Base Casting Roll 01-02).
