I've seen "skill ranks" and "skill rank bonus" described in the books and know what they are, but what is "skill bonus point" and is it described in the books at all?
Some say it's the total bonus after adding level bonus, stat bonus, skill bonus etc, but I'd like to be clear about it.
Example:
Adrenal landing (skill rank bonus)
...A character may automatically decrease the severity by his skill rank bonus times one foot.
Tumbling (skill bonus point)
...A character could fall safely up to 1'/skill point bonus if a successful maneuver roll is made.
if skill point bonus is truly the total bonus of a skill, then doesn't that make Adrenal Landing skill obsolete? As in most (all?) cases it's easier/cheaper to get a high Tumbling total bonus, than it is to get a similar fall reduction from Adrenal Landing?
