Cleric sphere?
« on: December 29, 2012, 09:44:48 AM »
Reading the Focused Eloquence Talent very closely the question arose whether a cleric has a sphere that this talent can be applied to or not?
In the description of the cleric there is talk of a base list which consists of spells from spheres. This means that only the spells from the Cleric sphere or the Harper's sphere that he picked for his base list get the bonus from the talent, while the others are to be cast without that benefit, right?

All the spells that are selected for the Cleric's Sphere (i.e. the spells from "Cleric Sphere" and those picked from other spheres) would benefit from a Focused Eloquence talent on that Sphere.

For a given Clerical order, their Clerical sphere is 5+ spells from the Cleric sphere and 15- that are normally designated for some other Sphere or Circle.

Best wishes,
Nicholas

Thanks for the quick clarification. There was some discussion about whether the narrow reading was intended to make magicians the true specialists in using magic and the cleric more of an all-rounder with a wide array of possiblities.
