What are Healing Spells?]
Healing spells (see the addendum) are split off from Utility spells and will have a spell type of H for Healing. Since these spells are beneficial in nature, they normally do not get a Resistance Roll. However, a character may actively resist these spells. In such cases, the spell provokes a normal RR.
The spell Lifegiving will remain a Utility spell. If the soul/spirit/ka/spark of life/aura/whatever of the person to be brought back to life does not want to return to life, then he will not.
Addendum
The following lists are considered to be primarily comprised of Healing spells. Some of the following lists give specific spells or exclude specific spell. Any named list that does not give these extra details should consider all Utility spells on that specific list to be Healing spells.
